Everything Uqab Mailer 1.3.0 does
37 features, grouped the way you meet them in the app. Nothing here is planned or deferred; each one ships in the current version. The short version is on the Uqab Mailer page.
Mailboxes and sending
- Connect Gmail / Google Workspace with Google sign-in: send and read replies through the Gmail API with two permissions, send and read-only; the token stays in Windows Credential Manager and nothing in the mailbox is changed or deleted. While Google's verification of the app is pending, only mailboxes listed as test users in Metrixan's Google project can connect this way; everyone else uses an app password.
- Ordinary mailboxes over SMTP and IMAP: choosing Gmail, Microsoft 365, cPanel or Other fills in the server settings; Gmail and Microsoft use an App Password; Test SMTP and Test IMAP buttons.
- Sender authentication check: SPF, DKIM and DMARC shown as Pass, Warning or Could not verify, with what to ask your domain host for; it never blocks sending.
- Several mailboxes per client: add, test, enable or disable, set the default; each campaign names its sending mailbox.
- Sender rotation (paid plans): a campaign shares new leads across the mailboxes you tick, and each lead keeps its mailbox for its whole sequence; an optional shared daily cap per sending domain.
- Daily cap and ramp per mailbox, pace presets (Relaxed, Normal, Faster, Custom) with randomised gaps, send windows, and separate campaign and mailbox timezones.
- "Send Today's Batch Now": sends today's permitted batch outside the usual hours, caps and checks still applying.
- Sending status that explains why nothing is going out; uncertain sends held and reconciled against the Sent folder, never resent automatically.
- Hard-bounce protection pauses a mailbox whose recent hard-bounce rate is high, to protect its reputation.
- Keep-awake while a send window is open, and an opt-in wake-to-send task you can see in Task Scheduler.
Campaigns and messages
- Plain-text templates with placeholders and fallbacks; Message Sets combine an initial message with follow-ups on the days you choose.
- Follow-up sequences frozen at enrolment; a blank follow-up subject continues the same thread.
- Campaigns choose the audience (collections, category group, countries), route messages by category group with a fallback, and set the window and pace; drafts can be saved and campaigns duplicated.
- Category Groups map the raw categories Uqab found to the groups you message.
- Launch Check with blockers and warnings, a multi-recipient preview and step test sends; Activate is gated on it.
Replies and outcomes
- Reply detection matches by In-Reply-To, then References, then sender; a reply stops all further follow-ups for that lead.
- Bounce handling: a hard bounce blocks the address permanently; a soft bounce is retried later; a policy refusal pauses the mailbox if it repeats.
- Unsubscribe: a List-Unsubscribe header on every campaign email, "unsubscribe" replies honoured automatically, and an Unsubscribed tab.
- Responses page with Replies, Unsubscribed, Bounces and Problems tabs.
- Outcomes (Interested, Not Interested, Maybe Later, Wrong Contact, Unsubscribe, Converted) and stages (New, Contacted, Interested, Follow-up, Converted, Closed); Converted and Closed hold automated outreach.
- Do not contact blocks every channel for an organisation.
Leads and organisation
- Workspaces: a Client picker in the header keeps each client's data separate.
- Today page: follow-ups, WhatsApp, calls, overdue items, replies and problems in one place.
- WhatsApp and call actions: the app prepares the WhatsApp text and records the outcome; it never sends WhatsApp itself.
- Notes, one open Next Action per organisation, and a timeline of what happened.
- Uqab import: exports are picked up automatically from the folder Uqab writes to, with a handoff health checklist.
- External import from any CSV or Excel file with a column mapper and saved presets.
- Possible duplicates reviewed in pairs; only what you confirm is merged.
- Reports: dashboard, breakdowns and saved views, exportable to CSV or Excel.
- Optional open and click tracking and a hosted unsubscribe page on a tracking service you host yourself; opens and clicks are signals, not proof.
Privacy, backups and help
- The database stays on your PC and is never uploaded to Metrixan; the only Metrixan service the app talks to is licensing.
- Passwords and Google tokens live only in Windows Credential Manager.
- Unrelated inbox mail: for a Google mailbox it is discarded after the check; for an IMAP mailbox only sender, subject and date are kept in the Problems list, never the content.
- "Forget this contact": permanent erasure that keeps a blocked-address record so the person is never re-imported.
- Daily backups (the newest 14 kept), staged restore, and an optional second backup location.
- Diagnostic Package for support: counts, settings and logs, never passwords, leases or message bodies.
- Contextual "?" help on every explained feature, plus Help & About.
Google sign-in Google sign-in for Gmail / Google Workspace is awaiting Google's verification of the app: until then it works only for mailboxes listed as test users in Metrixan's Google project. App Password sign-in works for everyone now.
