Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This website is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
Standard
The target standard is WCAG 2.2 level AA. Accessibility was part of the build, not an afterthought, and the site is tested against this target before releases.
What has been implemented
- Full keyboard operability, including menus, tabs, accordions, the Health Check, and the contact form
- Visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
- Semantic landmarks, logical heading structure, and descriptive link text
- Colour contrast designed to meet AA on text and interface components
- Meaning never conveyed by colour alone
- Screen-reader announcements for interactive results (form errors, filters, assessments)
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion: animations are disabled or replaced with immediate states, with no loss of information - Touch targets sized for comfortable use on phones
- Decorative visuals hidden from assistive technology; informative diagrams given text alternatives
Known limitations
Some decorative background effects are approximated on very old browsers. If you find anything that does not work with your assistive technology, that is a defect worth reporting - it will be treated as one.
Feedback
If any part of this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, please email contactus@metrixan.com with the page and the problem. Reports are read personally and fixes are prioritised.
