Before you install The Metrixan licensing service is live. Continue Free activates in both tools with a 6-digit email code and never expires: Uqab saves up to 10 new businesses a day, Uqab Mailer sends 3 emails a day from one mailbox. Paid plans activate with a license key once purchasing opens.

Google sign-in Google sign-in for Gmail / Google Workspace is awaiting Google's verification of the app: until then it works only for mailboxes listed as test users in Metrixan's Google project. App Password sign-in works for everyone now.

Installing

  1. Run the installer. It installs into your user profile (Local AppData, Programs, Uqab Mailer) and adds a Start menu shortcut.
  2. Your data lives in a separate folder (Local AppData, UqabMailer): leads, campaigns, history, backups and logs. Passwords and Google tokens go to Windows Credential Manager.
  3. Uninstalling keeps your data unless you confirm its removal twice.

If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning

  1. This installer is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose "More info", check that the file name is UqabMailer-Setup-1.3.0.exe, then "Run anyway".
  2. Download only from this page, and compare the SHA-256 below before running it if you want to be certain the file is the one Metrixan built.

Checking the file

  1. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\UqabMailer-Setup-1.3.0.exe" -Algorithm SHA256
  2. The Hash value must equal the SHA-256 shown on this page, letter for letter (case does not matter).

Updating

  1. The app checks once a day and shows a notice when a newer version exists; it never installs updates by itself.
  2. To update, download the newer installer and run it over the old one. Your data is kept, and a backup of the database is written automatically before any upgrade of its format.
